Legal Service Centre is situated at 143 Kalbadevi. If you know Kalbadevi, you know it’s a crowded and lively part of the city. Our office reflects that energy. It’s a bit small and sometimes it feels like we are overflowing with papers, but we know where everything is. We’ve been at 143 for years now. People come in from the street with all sorts of legal questions. We do our best to help them out without making things more complicated than they need to be. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk here. We don't have a fancy automated phone system. If you call, one of us just picks up the phone. Sometimes it’s a bit loud with the street noise coming through the windows, but that’s just life in Kalbadevi. We take our work seriously but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We aren't wearing high-end suits every day. Most of the time, we’re just in shirts and trousers, working through the pile of folders on our desks. It’s a local business, plain and simple. We know the regular people who walk by every morning. We’re just part of the neighborhood, providing a service that people around here seem to need. It’s not a corporate headquarters, it’s just our work home where we try to get things right for everyone who walks in.
