You can find us at 105 Alpine Industrial Estate, which is located right near the Borosil Glass Factory in Andheri East. It’s a very busy industrial zone, so there is always a lot of noise and movement from trucks and workers. Leather Stop Hide & Skin Exim deals with exactly what the name says on the sign. We have big stacks of hides in the back and the distinct smell of leather is everywhere you go in the unit. It’s something you get used to after a day or two of working here. The warehouse is a bit cold in the winter months and gets really hot in the summer, but we just keep working through it. We spend our time checking the quality of the skins and getting them ready for export or for local buyers to use. It’s a lot of physical work, moving those heavy bundles around. The office is tucked into a small corner of the unit with just enough room for a computer and some leather samples for people to touch. People come by to look at the different textures and colors we have available. We aren't really polished talkers; we just show what we have in stock and let the leather speak for itself. Andheri East is a bit of a trek for some, but the industrial estate is quite well-known. We’ve been here in sector 17E for quite some time. Some of the machines we use are old and need a bit of work to keep running, but they get the job done.
