Lean Management Technologies Pvt Ltd is a bit of a mouthful, but we just call it the office. We are located around Mahim and also have a spot on Bangergatta Road in Bangalore, near the Nobli area. We spend our time looking at how businesses run and trying to find ways to make them less messy. It’s a lot of looking at charts and talking to people about their daily routines. We try to use technology to simplify things, but sometimes it’s just about moving a desk or changing a schedule. We’re split between Mumbai and Bangalore, so there’s a lot of travel and phone calls. The Mahim office is usually where we do the planning. It’s a small space, nothing too impressive. We have a few computers and a big white board that’s always covered in notes that nobody else would understand. We aren’t the type to wear ties or give big speeches. We just sit down with people and figure out where they’re wasting time. It’s practical work. Sometimes it takes a long time to see results, which can be frustrating, but we stick with it. We’ve been doing this for a while now and we’ve seen all sorts of company problems. We just try to be helpful and keep things moving. It’s a living for us and we enjoy the puzzle of it all. Nothing more, nothing less.
