Laxmi Packaging & Trading Company

We've been here at A-1/2 in Panchwati Society for a long time now. If you know Marol Maroshi Road in Andheri East, you know how busy it gets every single day. It's usually a bit of a rush in the mornings when the trucks come in and we have to unload everything. We deal with all sorts of packaging and trading stuff, mostly boxes and tape and things like that. Sometimes the place gets a bit messy with stacks of cardboard everywhere, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. My brother and I started this business because we just saw a need for reliable supplies in this part of Mumbai. It isn't a fancy office with big glass walls or anything like you see in the movies. We have some old desks, a few fans, and a whole lot of stock. Most of the guys who work here have been with us for five or six years now, so they are more like friends. We drink a lot of chai from the small stall at the corner of the road. The traffic outside can be a real nightmare in the evenings, but we just keep working until the orders are all sorted out. It's just a regular local business. We handle the paperwork ourselves mostly, sitting at the back. Customers usually just call us up or drop by if they are nearby. We try to keep things simple and get the job done.
