Laxmi Light House

Laxmi Light House is located down in the basement of building number 5 on L T Marg. Even though the address says Chembur, we are right in the middle of the Crowford Market area, specifically in the Chavan Apartment near the Kamath Hotel. If you know that part of Mumbai, you know how packed and busy it gets every single day. Being in a basement means we have a lot of space for all kinds of lights, but it can get a bit stuffy down here. We have lamps, bulbs, and all sorts of fixtures piled up everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a treasure hunt sometimes to find a specific part a customer is asking for. Crowford Market is always loud and full of people, so there’s a lot of energy right outside our door. We’ve been selling lights here for a long time. People come to us when they are renovating a house or just need a replacement for a broken lamp. We don't have a fancy showroom with expensive carpets or bright displays. It’s more of a practical shop where you can see the products and talk to us about what you need. The Kamath Hotel is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us for the first time. We just keep our heads down and help whoever walks in. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We know our stock well.
