Laxmi Co.

We are located right across from the main gate of IIT in Powai. It is a very busy part of town, especially with all the students and traffic always moving past. Our office is in Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Nagar, close to Buddha Vihar. If you know the area, you know it never really stays quiet. Laxmi Co. has been operating out of this spot for some time now. We get a lot of the energy from the street coming inside. It's a small place, but we make the most of the space we have. There are desks squeezed in and papers usually everywhere because there is always something to handle. Being near the Buddha Vihar gives us a bit of a landmark to tell people when they get lost looking for us. We aren't a big corporation with glass walls; we are just a local company doing our bit in a crowded neighborhood. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We just show up, drink our tea, and get to the tasks. The proximity to the IIT gate means we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a practical location for us. We like being in the middle of everything in Powai. It feels grounded and real. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the walk to the entrance a bit muddy, but that is just part of living in Mumbai. We don't mind it much. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
