You can find us at number 5 on the first floor of Mohamedi Manzil. Our building is at 70 Mohamed Ali Road, which is a very active part of the city. There is always a lot of shouting and honking going on outside our windows. We actually like the noise because it feels like the city is alive. Our office is a bit old-fashioned. We have high ceilings and heavy wooden desks that have been here for years. We don’t have any of those modern glass partitions. It’s just one big space where we all work together. We handle trading and various corporate services. Most of our day is spent on the phone or writing out invoices by hand. We know all the other shopkeepers in the building and the guys who sell food on the street. It’s a very tight-knit area. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. People usually find us through someone they know or just by walking up the stairs. The steps to the first floor can be a bit steep, but it’s good exercise. We don’t have a big corporate mission. We just try to finish our work and keep the files in order. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a lot to do, but we usually head out when the sun goes down. It’s a simple, busy life in a historic part of town.
