Lalani Computer System is right here in Govandi, specifically at Plot No.4 in New Gutam Nager. If you know Mumbai 400043, you know it is a crowded and very lively spot. We have got computers and parts all over the place inside the shop. It is not the biggest place in the world, but we make it work. Most of the time it is just us figuring out what is wrong with a machine or setting something up for a person who stopped by. The street outside is always full of people moving around at all hours. We have been in this specific plot for a good bit of time now. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with the windows open, but we like the fresh air when it is not too hot outside. It is a very local kind of setup. We do not have fancy uniforms or a big front desk with a receptionist. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. It is honest work and we like being part of the New Gutam Nager community. Dealing with hardware and software every day keeps us busy. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we just wait it out like everyone else on the block. We know the neighbors and the other shop owners nearby. It is a basic place with a lot of cables and screens. We just try to keep things running.
