We’re located at 102, Lake Town, Block-A. If you’re familiar with North Kolkata, you know Lake Town is a pretty lively neighborhood. It’s not just an industrial zone; there are houses and shops all over, which makes it feel a bit more like a community than just a place of work. Lakhotia Metalizers Pvt. Ltd. operates out of this space, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the area. The building is a bit older, and the office space is functional rather than stylish. We have a lot of metalizing work to keep us busy, so the floor is usually covered with various projects in different stages of completion. During the festival seasons, the whole area gets really crowded and bright, which is a nice change from the usual routine. We don’t really bother with big advertisements or polished company profiles. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years or heard about us from someone else in the trade. It’s a small team here, and everyone pretty much knows how to do everything. Sometimes the rain in Kolkata makes it hard to get stuff moved out on time, but we manage. It’s a bit cramped at times with all the equipment, but we’ve learned how to organize things to make the most of the space. No fancy mission statements here, just a lot of hard work and making sure the metal gets treated right every single day.
