We are based at Plot No. 8 in the Laxmi Narayan Indl Est. It’s on Nandore Road in Palghar. If you know Palghar, you know it’s a hub for these kinds of manufacturing units. Kwality Process Equipments Pvt. Ltd is where we spend our lives. The workshop is full of heavy machinery and the smell of welding. We make process equipment, so there’s always something being cut, bent, or joined together. It’s a loud place. You have to shout sometimes to be heard over the grinders. Our team is a mix of older guys who have been doing this for decades and some younger ones learning the trade. We aren’t much for sitting in an office. Most of us are on the shop floor. The office part is just a small section with a few desks and a lot of blueprints. We keep the doors open for the breeze, but it’s still pretty warm. We’ve been at this plot for a long time. The industrial estate has its own rhythm. You see the same faces every day at the gates. We don’t go in for fancy talk or big promises. We just look at the drawings and build what’s needed. It’s dirty work, and our clothes are usually stained by the end of the day. But it’s what we know. We just take it one piece of equipment at a time and keep the machines running.
