Kuvarji Khimraj & Co. is situated in the Atta Building, specifically at 132/134 on SVP Road. If you know the Null Bazar area, you know it’s one of the busiest spots you can find. There is always a crowd and the noise of the market is constant. Our space in the Atta Building is old, with the kind of thick walls and narrow hallways you find in this part of the city. We’ve been here for a long time, and the history of the place is something you feel every day. We aren't a modern office with glass walls. It’s more about wooden desks and stacks of papers. We deal with our business in a traditional way because that’s how it has always been done here. The stairs up to our floor are a bit steep, but we don't mind the climb. We spend our time talking to suppliers and managing the accounts. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just wait it out and carry on. Null Bazar is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, so we have plenty of long-standing relationships with the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a cramped space, filled with the smells of the market outside. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and manage the trade from this little corner of SVP Road. It’s been our home for years and the local tea stall owner knows exactly how we like our morning drinks.
