If you're looking for us, we’re in Magnum Tower, specifically room 1109/10. It’s right in the middle of the Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri West. Being in Andheri means it’s always lively outside, with plenty of places to grab a bite and a lot of people moving around. Our office is up on one of the higher floors, so we get a decent view of the rooftops in the neighborhood. We focus on spice blends here, so the air in our small workspace often smells like cumin or garam masala. It’s a compact setup with desks pushed close together and computers that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time mixing and testing different batches to see how the flavors hold up. Most of the day is spent on the phone or responding to emails from vendors who need specific mixes. It gets pretty hectic around the festive seasons when everyone wants their orders at the same time. The elevators in Magnum Tower can be slow during the morning rush, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small team trying to get the blends right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a batch, and the security guard usually checks in on us. It’s just a regular Mumbai business life, filled with the smell of spices and the sound of the city.
