Kushal Samachar

Kushal Samachar is based over in Vile Parle West. We are located in the Ansa Industrial Estate on Sakivihar Road, specifically in Room Number 9 of Waghela Niwas I. This part of Mumbai is always humming with some kind of activity. Our office is a bit cramped because we have stacks of newspapers and old reports piled up against the walls. It is the kind of place where you have to be careful not to trip over a bundle of papers on your way to the desk. There is a computer that takes a few minutes to wake up in the morning, and the printer often makes a loud grinding noise when it starts a job. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing away to get the news sorted out. The industrial estate has a lot of trucks moving in and out, so there is always a background noise of engines and horns. We get our tea from a small shop just outside the gate, and it is usually too sweet, but it helps us get through the afternoon slump. The light in the room is a bit harsh because of the fluorescent tubes, but it works for what we need. It is a no-nonsense environment where the focus is just on getting the information out there. We are just a small team working out of a room in Waghela Niwas.
