Kunal Packaging

We've been here at Bajaj Compound for a while now. It's a busy spot in Malad West, right opposite Orlem Church on 5th Main. If you know the industrial town area, you know it gets pretty crowded with trucks and people moving things around. Kunal Packaging is just one of those places where we spend most of our day dealing with boxes and wrap. It’s not fancy. The floor usually has bits of tape or cardboard scraps on it because we are always working on something. Being near the church is helpful when giving directions since everyone knows where that is. We mostly just focus on getting the orders sorted and out the door. Some days are loud with the machines running, but that's just how it is in an industrial area like this. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. It's just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the guys here have been around for years, so we have a rhythm. We see the same faces every morning when we open up. Malad West has changed a lot, but this little corner of the industrial town feels mostly the same. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It's practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we pack things up. It’s just us here, making sure the items are ready for wherever they are headed next.
