Kunal K.K. Plastic Industries

We are over at Girikunj Industrial Estate. It’s on Mahakali Caves Road in Andheri East. We have two units, A-10 and B-34. It gets loud with the machines running, but that’s just how a plastic shop is. Kunal K.K. Plastic Industries has been around this part of Mumbai for a good bit. The air smells like warm plastic and oil most mornings. We don't have a front desk person, usually, you just walk in and find one of us on the floor. It's dusty and there’s always boxes piled up near the entrance. We make things out of plastic and send them out. That’s the whole deal. The walk from the station isn't too bad if the traffic is light. We share the building with a few other workshops, so there’s always noise coming from the neighbors too. It’s not a fancy office. We have some old desks in a corner for the paperwork, but most of the work happens at the machines. People call us Kunal for short. We just focus on getting the orders done and out the door on time. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait it out. It’s just life in the estate. We don't have a website that looks good or anything. We just work. The trucks struggle to turn in the narrow lanes around here. We’ve been at A-10 and B-34 for years now. It’s a practical setup. Nothing pretty. The floors are concrete and have some stains from the years of work.
