Krishna Bike Service

Krishna Bike Service is located in Shop No 17 at Gokul Society. The address says R K S Andheri East and mentions Crawford Market too, which can be a bit confusing for some people. It is a busy spot regardless. We spend almost all of our time covered in oil and black grease. There are always bikes lined up out on the pavement waiting for a tune-up or some kind of repair. It is a small shop, so things get cramped very quickly with all the tools and spare parts lying around on the floor. We have a couple of mechanics who really know their way around an engine. It is always noisy because of the power tools and the sound of bikes revving up to be tested. We do not have a fancy waiting room for people, just a simple wooden bench or two near the entrance. Most people just drop off their keys and come back later in the evening. We do everything from simple oil changes to fixing much bigger engine problems that take a few days. It is hard work and it gets very hot in the shop during the afternoons. We have been in Gokul Society for a while and know most of the regular riders around here. We just focus on getting the bikes back on the road so people can get to work. There is always a radio playing somewhere in the back.
