We’re situated in Flat No 32A on the third floor of the Dharam Jyot building. It’s Building No 3 on Sherly Rajan Road, right in the middle of Bandra West. As you probably know, Bandra is a busy place, and our street is no exception. We’ve been in this building as Kpmg India Private Limited for quite a while now. It’s not a shiny new skyscraper; it’s an older building with a lot of character, and maybe a few leaks when it rains really hard. We spend our days here doing the usual office stuff. We don't have a big team of people in suits. We’re mostly just wearing regular clothes and trying to get through our to-do lists. The office is a bit cramped with all the files and equipment, but we make it work. Sometimes the elevator in Dharam Jyot acts a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs to the third floor. It keeps us moving, I guess. We aren’t interested in fancy presentations or corporate talk. We just handle the business at hand. The 400 050 area is a great place to be, even if it is a bit loud outside sometimes. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. It’s a very grounded way to work in a city like Mumbai. We just try to get the jobs done properly without any extra fuss or complication. Every morning we come in and start again on whatever is next on the list.
