We operate out of Flat No 4 in the MTNL Staff Quaters on SV Road. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a business name like Kou Chan Knowledge Convergence, but it works for us. Goregaon West is a lively area, and being in the quarters means it’s mostly quiet except for the usual Mumbai street noise outside. Suresh Chand manages things here. It isn't a massive corporate building. It's more of a focused setup where we can sit down and actually get things done without too much distraction. We spend a lot of time on our computers and phones. Sometimes the living room feels more like a library with all the stuff we have lying around. It’s a practical way to run things. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If someone comes by, they’re usually coming to see one of us directly. We handle the knowledge convergence side of things, which sounds a bit heavy, but mostly it's just research and keeping track of data. Being in Mumbai, everything is fast, but inside the flat, we keep a steady pace. It’s been our base for some time now. We like that we can just walk out and find food or a train station within minutes. It’s a very grounded way to work. No flash, just daily effort. We have our routines. Morning coffee, checking the mail, and then diving into the files. It's not a place for tourists, just a workspace where we try to make sense of the information we deal with.
