Working at A 404 Satellite Gardens on Film City Road means we’re in a pretty famous part of Mumbai. Goregaon East is always buzzing, especially with all the studios nearby. This Kotak Mahindra Bank branch is situated right in the middle of that energy on Gen A K Vaidya Marg. It’s a practical office, not a movie set. We deal with the real-world stuff—deposits, withdrawals, and looking over loan applications. The building is easy to spot once you get onto the main road. We have a lot of people from the apartment complexes nearby coming in. It gets quite busy in the afternoons, so we have to stay on our toes. We don’t use a lot of fancy jargon; we just explain things as they are. The team here is a mix of people who’ve been in banking for years and some newer faces. We all just want to get the job done right. Living and working in Mumbai 53 means you’re used to the hustle. We try to make the banking part of someone’s day as painless as possible. There’s always coffee in the back and a stack of papers to get through. It’s just a normal, hardworking branch where we focus on the tasks at hand and try to be helpful to whoever walks in. We are just local people helping other local people with their money.
