Kirtisharma

This is the spot for Kirtisharma, located in the Godrej Hill Side Colony in Vikhroli West, Mumbai. It is a residential area with quite a bit of greenery around, which is nice for a change in a city like this. Being in a colony means things are a bit more organized than in other parts of Mumbai. We operate out of one of the units here. It’s not a big commercial space with a lobby or a security desk just for us. It’s just a regular door in a regular building. We like the quiet here. You can hear the birds sometimes, which is rare for Vikhroli. The space inside is mostly filled with our gear and some old files. We don't have a cleaning crew that comes in every night; we just sweep the place ourselves when it gets dusty. The walls have a few scuffs from moving furniture around last year. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s a functional space where we spend our hours getting things done. Vikhroli West has changed a lot over the years, but this colony still feels like a little pocket of the old days. We have a small window that lets in some light during the afternoon. It gets a bit stuffy in the humid months, but we just open the door to let the air circulate. That is pretty much how we run Kirtisharma from this little corner of Mumbai.
