Kirit D Thakker

The shop is called Kirit D Thakker and you can find us at Shop No 2 in the Radha Residence building. We are located on the 13th Main Road in Kaly Chembur. It’s a busy street with plenty of people walking by all day. We keep the shop open from morning until late evening. It’s a small space, but we have managed to fit everything we need inside. Most of the time, I’m sitting behind the counter handling whatever comes up. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a local shop where we know our customers by their names. People stop by for various things throughout the day. Sometimes they just want to ask for directions or see what we have in stock. The Radha Residence is a well-known building in this part of Chembur, so we are easy to spot. We don't use any complicated systems. Everything is written down or put into the basic computer we have. The 13th Main Road always has something going on, which makes the work day go by fast. We focus on being a reliable part of the local community. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing. We just open the shutters and wait for the regulars to show up. It’s a modest way to make a living, and it has served us well over the years. We take things one day at a time here at the shop.
