Kingston Technologies

Our liaison office is up in 808, Palm Spring Centre. It sits right above Cromalink Road in Malad. It’s a busy building in a busy part of the city. Kingston Technologies has been using this space for a while to handle all the local coordination. It’s not a huge office, but it fits the few of us who work here regularly. We spend most of our time on the phone or sending out emails to keep things moving. Malad is the kind of place where you’re always stuck in traffic, so we tend to arrive early and leave late to avoid the worst of it. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few cabinets for files, some basic desks, and a window that looks out over the rooftops. It gets quite bright in the afternoon, so we usually have the blinds drawn halfway. We aren't really a place where people drop in for a chat; it’s more of a functional hub for the company’s bigger operations. We’ve got a small kettle for making coffee and there’s always a bag of biscuits somewhere in a drawer. It’s not a corporate showroom or anything fancy like that. It’s just a place where we get the administrative work done so the rest of the business can keep running smoothly. We know the other people on the eighth floor by sight, but mostly we just stick to ourselves and our tasks. It’s a quiet, steady routine for us here in Malad.
