Our office is at 3 Berchman House, which is part of the St Peters Society on Pali Road. If you know Bandra West in Mumbai, you know it is a very lively place to be. Our building is an older one, so it has high ceilings and those thick walls that keep things a bit cooler. Kimmaya Consulting is the name on our door, but we are a small operation without any corporate flash. We spend our days sitting at our desks, handling various consulting tasks and talking to people on the phone. The office is usually filled with stacks of files and folders because there is always a lot of paperwork to get through. We do not have a big reception area or a coffee machine that does fancy drinks. We just have a kettle and some biscuits in the corner for when we need a break. The neighborhood is nice, and we often see the same people walking their dogs or going to the market every morning. It feels more like a community than a business district. We do not have any big speeches about what we do. We just show up every morning, do the work that is required, and try to keep things organized. Sometimes the Mumbai rain makes the walls a bit damp, but we just carry on. It is a decent place to work, and we are happy to be part of the Pali Road area.
