Kiln

We have been based in Andheri East for a long time now. Our work happens at unit 19 in the Zakaria Aghadi Estate over in Marol. It is a very busy spot with trucks and people moving about all day. The name Kiln is on the door, but it is not a fancy place. Inside, we have our equipment and a few desks where we keep track of things. We do not have a big staff or a polished reception area for visitors. Mostly, it is just the sound of machines and us talking over the noise. The heat in Mumbai can be a lot, especially in an industrial estate like this one, so we keep the fans running full speed. Sometimes we have to step outside just to get a bit of a breeze. People often get lost looking for other businesses in this estate and end up at our door asking for directions. We try to help them out when we can. There is a small stall nearby that makes good tea, which is where we usually go when we need a short break from the routine. We do not use any big corporate words to describe what we do. We just come in, handle the tasks for the day, and make sure everything is in order before we lock up. It is a simple way to work, and it suits us fine. We have been part of this Marol neighborhood long enough that it feels like home now.
