Khodiyar Plastic

We are based at Gala C/13 in the Bhatiya Compound, which is part of RMC 27 in Kandivali West. We are right opposite the Charkop petrol pump, so it’s easy to tell people where to go when they are lost. The compound is a bit dusty and there are always trucks moving in and out. Our gala is filled with plastic goods and raw materials. It’s a working warehouse more than a shop. I’ve been running this place for a few years, and it's definitely a hands-on job. We don’t have an air-conditioned office or fancy chairs. Most of the time, I’m standing on the floor checking the stock or talking to the drivers. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving. Dealing with plastic means we have to stay organized, or everything becomes a mess very quickly. We don't do a lot of advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have been buying from us for years. It’s a tough business sometimes with the prices of materials changing, but we keep going. Kandivali is a good place for this kind of work because everything we need is close by. We aren't a big corporation, just a small unit trying to stay busy and get orders out the door. It is not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps us active every day.
