I have two rooms, 503 and 504, over in the D Wing of the building here in Andheri West. It’s a busy part of town, as anyone who lives in Mumbai knows. The elevators take forever sometimes, especially during the lunch rush when everyone is trying to get downstairs. I spend most of my days inside these four walls, usually surrounded by stacks of files and a computer that’s seen better days. It isn't a high-end corporate suite with leather chairs or fancy art. It’s just a practical workspace where I can focus on what needs to be done. Being in Andheri West means everything is close by, which helps when I need to step out for a quick errand or some tea. My name is Keshav C Goyal, and I’ve been running things from this spot for a good while now. I don’t have a massive staff or a fancy reception desk to greet people. Usually, it’s just me and maybe one other person helping out with the daily paperwork. We keep the lights on and stay until the work is finished, even if it gets late. People usually find me through word of mouth or because they saw the sign in the lobby downstairs. It’s a bit cramped when we have visitors, but we make it work somehow. I like the routine of coming in, checking the messages, and sorting through the tasks. It’s not a flashy career, but it’s steady and it keeps me busy right here in the D Wing.
