Keshar Forge Industries is right here in Girgaon, at the number 3 spot. If you know Mumbai, you know Girgaon is one of those old-school areas where things are cramped but there is a lot of history. Working in forging means it is always hot and noisy. We are constantly dealing with metal and heat, and the air always has that heavy, industrial smell to it. It is not a place for someone who wants to stay clean. We spend our hours around the forge, making sure the metal is shaped the way it needs to be. It is physical work that leaves you tired at the end of the day. The lanes around here are narrow, so getting materials in and out can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, but we have figured out how to make it work over the years. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just know how to work with iron and steel. Most of our guys have been doing this for years, and they don't need to be told how to handle a hammer or a press. It’s just a straight-up forge. We open early, we work hard, and we close when the job is done. It is a simple life in a busy part of the city. We have been here for a long time.
