I’ve been running things here in Khar West for quite some time now. You can find me at Suresh Vithal Villa, right on the second floor. It’s a quiet enough building most days, though the street outside can get a bit loud with the usual traffic and people passing through the neighborhood. I didn’t want a fancy office in a glass building; this place feels more like where I belong. The stairs are a bit narrow, so carrying supplies up to the second floor is my daily workout, I suppose. I started this because I wanted to work for myself and see what I could do with my own hands and time. Some days are slow, and I just sit here with a cup of tea looking at the files on my desk, while other days are so busy I barely have time to look out the window. It’s just me and a small group of people helping out when they can. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a local spot where we try to get the work done right without making a big fuss about it. Khar is a good place to be, even if parking is a nightmare. I’ve lived around here long enough to know the shortcuts and which shops have the good snacks for the afternoon break. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a steady one that keeps me occupied and connected to the people around me in this part of Mumbai. I hope to keep it going for a long time.
