We are located in Kamala City, over in the A Wing on the 8th floor. Lower Parel is always a bit of a maze with all the big buildings and the traffic on Senapati Bapat Marg. Our unit, 806, is a decent-sized space where we handle our software stuff. It’s a lot different from the old mills that used to be around here. Now it’s all tall buildings and glass. Getting into the building in the morning involves a bit of a wait for the elevators because everyone arrives at the same time. Once we’re up on the 8th floor, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a good view of the city skyline, which is nice when you need a break from looking at code. The office is pretty standard, with rows of desks and a small area for coffee. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s more about having a functional place to sit and get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the view of the lights in Mumbai is actually pretty cool then. We usually grab lunch at one of the cafes in the complex or just get something delivered if we’re too busy to leave the desk. It’s a fast-paced area, but inside unit 806, we just try to keep things steady and make sure the software is running like it should. No big corporate vibes here, just regular people working hard.
