Kapu Gems

Kapu Gems is based at number 1 in the Jewel Building, which most of us still call the Roxy building. We are right on Mama Parmanand Marg in the Opera House district. Being on the first floor makes it very easy for people to stop by. It’s a very old building with a lot of character. We’ve been working here for many years and we’ve seen the whole area change around us. The office itself is pretty simple. We have our workbenches and the lamps we need to see the stones clearly. It’s not a place for fancy furniture. We just focus on the gems. The street outside is always full of people, and sometimes it gets quite loud, but we don't mind. It feels like we are right in the heart of the action. We don't have any big slogans or "about us" pages usually. We just talk to people face to face. Our team is small, and we’ve all been together for a long time. We handle the day-to-day business of buying and selling gems without much fuss. We usually grab lunch from one of the local places nearby. It’s a very traditional way of doing business. We rely on the relationships we’ve built over the years. We don't try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local business doing our best every day in a part of town that we really know well.
