Kapil Writing Instruments is located at 126-D on the first floor of Shanta Indl Est. Our address mentions both Andheri West and Goregaon East because we are right on that border area. Working in an industrial estate is a bit different from a regular shop. There are always trucks moving and people hauling boxes around the building. Since we are on the first floor, we do a lot of walking up and down the stairs. It is a busy atmosphere. We deal with pens and other writing tools, mostly in larger quantities. Our unit is filled with stacks of boxes and it is a very functional workspace. It is not fancy and the walls aren't perfect, but it is where we get our work done. The afternoons can get pretty hot inside the estate, so we just keep the fans running high. We do not do much in the way of advertising. Most people who buy from us have known us for years or they work in the same industrial area. We have a good relationship with the other units in Shanta Indl Est. We share news and sometimes help each other out. It is a hard-working environment and we just focus on getting our orders packed and sent out on time. We do not have any big speeches to make, we just show up and do the work.
