Kangaroo Kids Education

Our place is located in Bungalow No 5, tucked away in the Chetak Row Houses on Pali Hill Road. Bandra West is a crowded area, but this little corner is usually a bit calmer. It’s an old bungalow, which gives the whole school a different feel than those big glass buildings you see elsewhere. We have been operating out of 41 Poonam Palace for quite some time now. Most mornings start with the sound of the gates opening and the staff arriving to set up the play areas. Since it’s a house, the rooms are different sizes, and we’ve turned the living areas and bedrooms into places for the kids to learn. We have a small outdoor area where the children can run around a bit when the weather isn't too hot. It takes a lot of effort to keep an old place like this running smoothly, but we like the character it has. The neighbors know us well, and we try to keep the noise down during the early hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in Mumbai, we just want to provide a space that feels comfortable. The teachers here spend a lot of time sitting on the floor with the kids, just going through the basics. It’s a very hands-on kind of day for all of us. We just keep things moving, one day at a time, right here in Bandra West.
