Down in Mahim, specifically in the units 405 and 406, is where you’ll find us. It’s an industrial setup, so don’t expect anything too pretty or polished. The hallways are a bit narrow and there’s always the sound of someone moving crates or a machine humming somewhere in the background. We spend most of our time inside these two rooms, just getting through the daily list of things that need doing. Mahim is a crowded area, so getting here in the morning can be a real headache with the traffic and all that. Once you’re inside, though, it’s just a regular workplace. We have our tools and our benches set up exactly how we like them. There’s a tea stall just around the corner that everyone goes to when we need a break from the noise. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has time for that. We’re more focused on the work at hand. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of all the activity in the building, but that’s just part of being in an industrial block. It’s a solid place to be, right in the middle of everything. We’ve got our routine down, from the first cup of coffee to the time we lock up the shutters at night. It’s simple, it’s loud sometimes, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be finished.
