Our place is over in Kalbadevi, inside Mansingka Chambers at 258 Kalba Devi Road. We’re on the first floor. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in the whole city. There’s always someone carrying a heavy load or a handcart blocking the way. Our office is right near the Adarsh Hotel, which is a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. The building is tucked away in those narrow lanes, and it can be a bit of a squeeze getting up the stairs when people are coming down. Inside, we have our workstations set up in a way that maximizes the space we have. It’s not a huge office, so we all sit pretty close to each other. It gets a bit loud with the traffic and the shouting from the street below, but we don’t really mind it much anymore. There’s always a lot of activity, with people dropping off packages or coming in for quick meetings. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea throughout the day. It’s a hardworking area, and we fit right in with the rest of the shops and small offices around us. It’s definitely not a corporate park, but it’s where we feel at home and get our daily tasks done. The walls could use a bit of paint, but the work goes on.
