Kalayojan

We are situated in Mulund West, in the Pratik Industrial Estate. The building is B 304. It’s a typical industrial building with a big lift that sometimes doesn’t work. I’ve been coming here every day for quite a while now. The office is tucked away at the end of the corridor. It’s full of drawings, rolls of paper, and computers. It’s not a place where we get a lot of walk-in traffic, which is fine by me. Most of our work is done at the desks. I have a small team, and we all sit pretty close to each other. It gets a bit noisy when everyone is talking at once. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. The windows look out over other industrial buildings. It’s not much of a view, but it helps to see the sky sometimes. I usually bring my own lunch and eat it at my desk while looking at the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do the work right and get through the day. Sometimes the deadlines are tight and we stay late, ordering pizza or some local food from the corner. It’s just a normal job in a normal part of Mumbai. We keep our heads down and stay busy. That is how we have always done it.
