Kaalon Crafts

Kaalon Crafts is tucked away at Plot No. 1002 in the Das Mala area. Specifically, we are in the Moru Nehal building on Pali Mala Road. Being in Pali Hill, Bandra West, means the surroundings are a bit different than other parts of the city, but inside our doors, it’s just us working. We spend a lot of time with our hands, making things and checking the details. The space isn't huge, but it fits what we need. We have benches pushed up against the walls and shelves full of materials. Sometimes the room feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone to greet you at the door. It’s usually just one of us looking up from a table when someone walks in. We’ve been in this building for a while now and we know the rhythms of the street outside. Bandra can be a busy place, but our little corner stays relatively quiet most of the time. We focus on the work in front of us. There isn't any big corporate strategy here. We just come in, see what needs to be finished, and get to it. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the light that comes through the windows in the morning. It makes the whole place feel a little bit more open and less like a workshop.
