K. Tulsidas & Bros.

K. Tulsidas & Bros. is located in Maker Bhavan-3, at 115 New Marine Lines. We’re in room number 21. It’s a typical office building in a very busy part of the city. There’s always someone running down the hallway or waiting for the elevator. We’ve been in this space for a long time, and the furniture definitely shows it. It’s comfortable though, and it works for what we need. We mostly spend our time on paperwork and talking to people on the phone. It’s not the most exciting work in the world, but it keeps us busy. Our office is often filled with stacks of files and ledgers because we haven't quite moved everything to computers yet. We like the old-fashioned way of doing things sometimes. There are only a few of us here, and we’ve worked together so long that we’re more like a family than coworkers. We have our coffee together in the morning and talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. New Marine Lines has changed a lot since we first moved in, with new shops and more traffic than ever. Even with all the noise outside, our little office stays pretty grounded. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure the business stays on track without making a big fuss about it. We’ve seen a lot of things change around here, but we just keep doing what we know how to do best.
