K N Mehta Sons is located in Office No 22 inside Latif House. We are right near the Masjid Bunder East railway station, which is one of the busiest areas you can imagine. The 1st Masjid Refinery Road is always packed with trucks and people moving goods around. Being in Bajwa near the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day. Our office is on the first floor. It is an old building and the stairs are quite narrow. We’ve been here for a long time, and the office still has that old-school feel to it. There are stacks of files and heavy wooden desks that have been with us for years. My sons and I work here together, keeping the family business going. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a modern lobby. It is just a place where we come to get our work finished. The area is very industrial and trade-focused, so everyone around here is usually in a hurry. We know the local tea sellers and the other office workers in Latif House. It’s a tight-knit spot despite all the chaos outside. We just keep our heads down and handle our daily tasks. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know and we’ve been doing it for decades.
