K J Somaiya Institute Freelance

We are basically operating out of Bhandup in Mumbai, specifically inside Satya Vijaya Society. The place is right opposite Sarvodaya Nagar on J M Road. If you know the area, it is easy to find, though traffic on J M Road can be a real headache during the rush hour. We are tucked away at A 37, care of Dr V K Tiwari, who is a scientist here. It is a bit of a different setup since it is a residential society, so it feels more like a home office than a big corporate building. You get the neighborhood kids playing outside and the usual sounds of the city. We do freelance work linked to the institute, keeping things moving without too much fuss. Being in Mumbai 78, we are part of that busy eastern suburb life. It is not always quiet, but it is a good place to think. We have a few computers set up and a lot of books. Sometimes we have to explain the directions a few times because the society entrance can be missed if you are driving too fast. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. It is just a straightforward operation where we handle our tasks and keep to ourselves mostly. No fancy lobbies or receptionists, just us working on what needs doing. It is a humble spot.
