K C College Of Engg is tucked away in Shreerang Society over in Thane W, specifically at E 107 3. It’s a busy place most of the time because of all the people coming and going. The building itself has been here for a good bit, and you can see that in some of the corners and hallways. We spend a lot of time just making sure the schedules work and that everyone has a place to sit and do their work. Being in a society like Shreerang means there are neighbors all around, so we try not to be too loud, though that’s hard with so many people in one spot. The rooms are filled with desks and papers and sometimes old machines that we use for teaching. It’s not like those shiny new campuses you see in magazines, but it works for what we do. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been commuting through Thane for years. We deal with the usual problems like the electricity cutting out or the internet being slow when it rains. That’s just life in this part of the city. We don’t put on a show for anyone. If you walk in, you’ll see people studying or just chatting in the corridors between their sessions. We keep the doors open and just get on with the day. It is a practical place for people who want to learn something useful. It might not be perfect, but it is where we do our work every single day.
