You can find Jyoti Furniture over in Byculla West. Our shop is at 30, Bharucha Stable No.-2, specifically Shop No.-5 on Pai'S Street, just off K. K. Marg. It’s a bit of an unusual spot since it’s an old stable area, but it works well for us. We’ve been making and selling furniture here for quite some time. The space is filled with the smell of sawdust and wood polish, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We do a lot of the work right there in the shop, so you’ll often see us cutting wood or assembling frames when you walk in. It’s not a big showroom like the ones you see in the malls. It’s more of a workshop where things actually get built. We have all sorts of wood stacked up in the back, and tools are scattered everywhere. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to see what we're working on or to ask if we can fix a broken chair. We don't have a big sales team. Usually, it’s just one of us talking to customers while we work. We try to make things that last, using simple methods that have worked for a long time. Byculla is a busy place, and Pai'S Street is no exception, but inside the shop, we just focus on the wood.
