Just Right Productions

We are located in Vile Parle West, inside the Megha Co-operative Housing Society on Jai Jawan Lane. Our office is Flat Number 17 on the 5th floor of the Empire building on Daftry Road. It’s a typical Mumbai apartment that we’ve repurposed for our production work. Being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view over the neighborhood, which is always busy with people heading to the station or the market. The lift in the Empire building is one of those old grill types that clanks as it goes up. Inside the flat, we’ve got wires running across the floor and stacks of equipment cases tucked into every corner. It’s not very organized, but we know exactly where the spare cables are kept. We spend a lot of late nights here editing and reviewing footage. The kitchen is mostly used for storing snacks and making endless rounds of tea to stay awake. Vile Parle West is a great area because everything you need is just a short walk away. We like the energy of Daftry Road. It’s a bit noisy, but that’s just part of living and working in this city. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a sign on the door, just a small nameplate. It’s a functional space where we can get our creative work done without any fuss or bother from the outside world. Just Right Productions fits us because we aren't trying to be the biggest studio in Mumbai. We just want to do work that feels okay.
