We are situated at E 25 in the Chand Society on Juhu Road. This is right in the heart of Juhu, Mumbai, 400 049. The name of the place comes from a long history with Ashok Leyland, but now we are just here in this quiet corner of Mumbai. Being on Juhu Road means the beach is close by, and you can sometimes smell the salt in the air when the wind is right. The Chand Society is an old residential area, very peaceful compared to the main road which is always clogged with cars. Our space is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just drop in. We haven't done much to the interior; it still has that 1980s feel with the heavy wooden doors and the tiled floors. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day. We have a lot of old photos on the walls and some mementos from the years spent in the automotive industry. It’s more of a place for us to gather and keep busy rather than a high-pressure office. We make a lot of tea and talk about the old days while still keeping an eye on our current small business affairs. It’s a relaxed environment. People around Juhu know us as the folks who finally slowed down but couldn't quite stop working altogether. Just Retired From M S Ashok Leyland Ltd is a bit of a long name for a business, but it tells our story.
