Just Drapes

We are located in the Malabar Hill area, inside the B Wing of Rajul Apartment at Shop No 35 B. It is a well-known building in this part of Mumbai, and being in a shop space means we are right on the ground level. Just Drapes is the name on the front, and we have been here long enough that the local residents all know us. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be smart about how we use the space. We have rolls of fabric and various samples tucked into every corner, which gives the place a bit of a cluttered but cozy feel. It is definitely not a sterile corporate environment. There is usually a bit of dust from the fabrics, and we are constantly moving things around to find what we need. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the ins and outs of the business. The light coming in from the front window is nice, though it can get quite hot in the afternoon sun. We have a small table in the back where we eat our lunch and have our tea. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or handling deliveries that arrive at the door. It is a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we focus on the task at hand without any extra bells and whistles. We like the rhythm of Malabar Hill and being part of the daily life in this neighborhood.
