Joy Traders

Joy Traders is located at D-14, near Mysore Colony in Sector 19 of Chembur East. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to some of the main markets. We’ve been here for a while, and most of the people in the colony know who we are. We deal in trading various items, so our inventory is always changing. One week we might have stacks of one thing, and the next it’s something completely different. The space we have is okay, but we’re starting to outgrow it a little. You have to be careful walking through the back so you don't trip over a crate. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just a plain door with our name on it. Most of our business comes from long-time contacts and word of mouth in the Chembur area. The guys who deliver our stock are always in a hurry, so mornings are usually the most hectic time for us. Once the deliveries are sorted, the rest of the day is spent on the phone or checking the books. We have a small fan that keeps the air moving, which is a lifesaver in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. It’s a simple, honest business. We don't promise anything we can't do, and we just try to treat everyone fairly who walks through the door. Being near Mysore Colony is convenient for us and most of our staff lives close by.
