Joshi & Associates

You can find us at 15, Gehibhavan, which is located on Road No 9 in Borivali-East. It’s a busy part of the suburb, and there’s always a lot of movement outside on the street. The building, Gehibhavan, has been around for a while and has that solid, older feel to it. Our office at Joshi & Associates is basically just a few rooms filled with books, folders, and computers. The shelves are pretty crowded because we tend to keep everything just in case we need to look it up later. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, so we can see the rain when it comes down hard or watch the traffic jams during rush hour. It gets a bit noisy with the horns honking, but we’ve mostly learned to tune it out. We spend a lot of time sitting at our wooden desks, typing away or going through stacks of paper. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, which is usually the highlight of the day for most of us. We aren't really into modern office trends or open-plan layouts. We like our walls and our privacy. It’s a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. It feels like a proper neighborhood office where people actually know your name. It’s been our home base for a long time.
