Job Centre

We are over here at Siddharth Nagar on AB Road in Mumbai. It is a busy spot, as most people in this city know. The Job Centre has been around this part of town for a bit now. We spend most of our mornings just getting the shutters up and checking the messages that came in overnight. It is noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we try to keep things moving. We help people find what they are looking for when it comes to work. It’s not fancy or anything. There’s a lot of paperwork usually. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and that’s the highlight of the afternoon. We have a few desks and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. Most days we are just busy with the phones or talking to folks who walk in off the street. Mumbai is a fast place, so we try to keep up with the pace as much as we can. It’s just regular work for us. We don’t have any big speeches to give. We just show up, do the tasks on the list, and go home when the day is done. The office isn't huge but it fits what we need. That is pretty much the story of our little place here.
