Jiten Electricals

We are located in Malad West, right at 226 on the ground floor of the Bombay Talkies Co building. Jiten Electricals is a typical Mumbai shop. We have boxes of wires, switches, and various electrical parts stacked up almost to the ceiling. It is a bit of a squeeze to move around sometimes. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop their heads in and ask for what they need. We don't have a fancy display window. Most of our stuff is just sitting on the shelves where we can grab it quickly. The area has a lot of history because of the old film studio nearby. We see a lot of the same faces every day. It’s a busy spot and we like it that way. When the monsoon hits, we have to make sure the door is sealed well so the water doesn't come in. We aren't consultants or experts in suits. We are just the people you come to when your light goes out or you need a new plug for your fan. The shop is dusty and the bells on the door jingle every time someone walks in. We just keep things moving and help out the locals. We usually have a radio playing some old songs while we work. The smell of solder is always in the air.
