Jhaveri Bros Co Pvt Ltd is located at 5, Metro House, which is right next to the Metro Big Cinemas in Dhobi Talao. This is an old part of the city and our shop has been part of it for a very long time. The building has a lot of history and you can see it in the high ceilings and the old wooden fixtures we still use. We handle a variety of items, mostly things that people buy for gifts or special events. The shop floor is often quite full with different displays and glass cases. It is not a modern, minimalist space. It feels more like stepping back in time a little bit. We have a staff that has been with us for years, and they know the stock inside out. Dhobi Talao is a noisy area with a lot of traffic and people constantly moving past the windows. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming, but we are used to it by now. We don't spend any time on fancy marketing or trying to sound like a big corporation. We are just a local business that has managed to stay around while many other things have changed. We keep our records in big ledgers and we talk to our customers like neighbors. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it has worked for us for decades. We just focus on being there every day for whoever walks in.
