Our workshop is up on the 7th floor of the Adarsh Vihar Complex. It's room 702 A. Being in Malad West means there's always something going on downstairs on Marve Road. But up here, it’s a bit more peaceful. We have a nice view of the other buildings. It’s mostly just a bunch of workbenches and a lot of small tools scattered around. We try to keep it clean but when you’re creating things, a bit of a mess is normal. We don't have a retail store where you can just walk in and browse. Most people call us first or they know us through friends. We spend a lot of time sitting down and focusing on small bits of metal and stones. It’s slow work. We have a small radio that plays old songs in the background. It keeps the mood light. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs if we’re in a hurry. We’ve been in this complex for a while. We know the security guards and the other folks on our floor. It feels like a little community. We don't have a big corporate office with a receptionist. You just knock on 702 A and one of us will open the door. We usually have some dust on our clothes from the polishing wheel. It’s just what we do for a living. We try to keep the quality high so people keep coming back.
